Casa Patrizia
Casa Patrizia is a design holiday home. Not wastefully but exquisite furnished, with a spacious way of living on the ground floor and three marble bathrooms all over the house. Two patios (facing south east resp. west) show – depending on the time of day – the sun above the sea. Onto Ponta do Sol, where the house is situated, the sun shines nearly all the time.
From a resident street in the municipal district Canhas a driveway of 25 mtrs goes down to the entrance and parking space. Eight wooden steps lead from there down to the living room and further eight go up to the floor of rest. Two bedrooms on the upper floor with French divans of 1.50 mtrs x 1.95 mtrs give a space to grandiose people of every kind. The bedrooms, with a small balcony each, provide roomy built-in wardrobes. One of the bedrooms has a private bath (tub). The bathroom for the other one is vis-a-vis. The living room on the ground floor has 30 sq.m . A long dining table near the entrance to the kitchen is surrounde by six chairs. Two sofas and an armchair are around a low table in the other part of the room. An electric stove gives warmth if necessary, the DVD recorder with a screen provides entertainment. A bathroom (with a shower) borders as well as the well equipped kitchen (with a dining table for four persons, fridge/freezer, gas stove with an electric oven and further appliancies, sufficent dishes and cutlery, washing machine in a storeroom).
The living room has tall windows facing the sea on the horizon. A way which leads along the window front, joins the two patios. From one of the patios you take only some steps to a large barbecue. In a special spot of the garden you find wooden furniture on a wooden platform: banks and chairs gathered around a large table.
Casa Patrizia belongs to a suburb of Ponta do Sol. Nearby there are two supermarkets, a greengrocer as well as a bar where you can have excellent but low-rated soups. The suburb is on ca. 350 mtrs above the sea level. About four kilometres to drive to the rocks of Ponta do Sol with an easy access to the sea and „beach“-bar resp. restaurant. To the rocks of Madalena do Mar (restaurants, too) it is nearly six kilometres to drive.
From Casa Patrizia you can reach easily and fast the plateau of Madeira, Paul da Serra. Into the capital of the island it is about 30 minutes to drive, as long as to the north coast. The south west of Madeira is within reach. The extended walking path along the Levada Nova is near-by.
Third or fourth adult person pays EUR 10,- per night surplus each.
