Grandma's Farmhouse
Traditional Madeiran stone house, simple but hospitable, above the village of Ponta do Sol. This house comprises of simple furniture and for hikers it is an ideal base discovering the whole island.
On the ground floor of the farmhouse is a traditional kitchen including the old wood firing oven that can give a pleasant warmth, as well as the living room. Upstairs there are the bedroom and the bathroom. In the room which leads to the bedroom there is a additional bed. A door leads to a small balcony.
The entrance ot the kitchen is surrounded by a glazed veranda. In front of this veranda you find a small garden with fruit trees. A rural road with very little traffic lies below the house.
